Program Duration   The normal period to complete the 30-credit course requirement is 1 year.   Study Mode The program is designed for full-time students and most of the classes will be held during daytime at HKUST main campus.   Program Size The program size will be no more than 80. Program Options There are two ways to gain the MSc award: 1) The Coursework-only Option This is the option for most students. Students are required to complete at least 30 credits of coursework, including 15 credits from the four core courses and 15 credits from electives. 2) The Coursework-plus-project Option This is the option for academically outstanding students. Students choosing this option are required to complete at least 24 credits of coursework, including 15 credits from the four core courses and 9 credits from electives; PLUS a 6-credit project supervised by a faculty member with the Department of Economics.
