[eNews] Seminar on Financing Green Infrastructure in the Greater Bay Area

Climate change is one of the major challenges of our time. Without collective action, the scale of the impact of climate change will become more difficulty and costly to manage in the future.

To make a difference and bridge opinions from different experts, the Finance Department of the Business School and the Institute for the Environment of the Division of Environment and Sustainability joined hands to conduct a seminar on “Financing Green Infrastructure in the Greater Bay Area.”

The seminar featured ten expert speakers and moderators from both the finance and environmental sectors to discuss issues centered on the topic, including the impact of climate risk on infrastructure, green finance developments, financing of the green infrastructure in Guangzhou and beyond. Almost one hundred participants joined the event, which was held in Business Central on 13 June.
