[eNews] SKOLKOVO EMBA and MBA Groups @ HKUST Business School

The Executive Education Office received another two groups of students from the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO in December - its EMBA and MBA classes.

A group of 59 EMBA students came for a 3-day program with lectures on “Social Dynamics in China” by Prof Bilian SULLIVAN, “How to bring Innovation of China and Hong Kong to Business” by Prof Michael SUNG, “Supply Chain in China” by Prof Edwin KEH, “the Financial System in Hong Kong and China” by Prof Jerome YEN and “Deal Making in Asia” by Prof Laurence FRANKLIN. Apart from lectures, participants also met with industry experts to get advice on their China projects.

Meanwhile, 27 SKOLKOVO MBA students took their study week at HKUST. The students learned many things from HKUST faculty and speakers about Hong Kong, China and Asia on different topics, including Social Dynamics in China”, “Managerial Decision Making and Leadership”, “Deal Making in Asia”, “Digital Transformation”, “Bring Innovation to Business”, “Supply Chain in China”, and “Belt and Road”.  The participants were given the opportunity to visit the HKUST Robotics Institute and Materials Characterisation and Preparation Facility at HKUST, Li & Fung, Shenzhen Valley Venture, IngDan and Tencent. 

These two programs allowed the students to discover more about cutting-edge management knowledge and business insights.
