[eNews] Nine Students Named Dean’s Service Awardees

The Dean’s Service Award is an annual event organized by the UG Programs Office to honor and reward business undergraduates who have demonstrated outstanding service or provided volunteering contributions on campus or to the wider community.

This year, nine awardees have received the recognition based on their exceptional devotion and caring spirit. The awards were presented by Prof TAM Kar Yan, Dean of the HKUST Business School, on May 9.

Families and friends of the awardees were invited to join the ceremony to share the joy. Two of the final year student awardees, Clara LAW and THAM Chew Meng talked about their service journeys and reflected with guests.  Awardees were provided with a chance to exchange with guests and faculty on the positive value of service.
