[eNews] SKOLKOVO - Among the World’s Youngest EQUIS Accredited School

The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, our partner school, has received an international accreditation from EQUIS. This is a testimony to SKOLKOVO’s strong local and growing global network and firm commitment to quality education programs, including a dual degree EMBA with HKUST.

The dual degree EMBA students, together with colleagues from both HKUST (Prof Steven DEKREY, Sherring NG and Wynne NG) and SKOLKOVO (Prof Tomas CASAS, Ekaterina KARKHINA and Ekaterina GERASIMOVA), celebrate on an academic field trip to Switzerland.

The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) has only granted the prestigious EQUIS accreditation to 182 schools in the world, including all the top business schools in Europe. Founded in 2006, SKOLKOVO is among the three youngest business schools in the world that has successfully completed this challenging accreditation process.

A press release by EFMD:

SKOLKOVO’s partnership with HKUST is an enriching opportunity for both parties. The Executive Education Office recently received two groups of students from the school for its EMBA and MBA classes to showcase Hong Kong and China’s business insights.

The first group with 45 EMBA students came to Hong Kong for a three-day program on Chinese economics and business, while the second group with 39 MBA students spend their study week at HKUST and took classes on Chinese business and finance, including visits to Marriott International in Hong Kong and Huawei and Chow Tai Fook in Shenzhen.
