[eNews] Russian Students in HK: SKOLKOVO MBA Module

The Executive Education Office received another group of 34 MBA students from the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO MBA in July.

During the week at HKUST, the students learned from HKUST faculty and speakers about Hong Kong, China and Asia on different topics, including “Digital Transformation in China” by Prof. Jack LAU, “Huawei Case Study” by Prof. XU Yan, “Deal Making in China & Asia” by Eurlng Henry WANG, “Understanding Consumer Psychology - A China Context” by Prof. Jaideep SENGUPTA, “Retailing to the Chinese Customers” by Prof. Cassian CHEUNG, “Greater Bay Area” by Prof. Jerome YEN and “Supply Chain in China” by Prof. Gordon LAM. Apart from lectures, the group conducted a quest in Hong Kong on the first day to get participants know more about local culture.

To help students know more about the business environment and strategies in China, they also visited Marriott International, Inc. in Hong Kong, and Huawei and Chow Tai Fook Jewelry Co Ltd in Shenzhen. All these activities helped students discover more about China and Asia with cutting-edge management knowledge, business insights and networking opportunities.
