[eNews] HKUST B-School selected as top 30 leading schools with Positive Impact

The HKUST Business School is honored to be featured as one of the top 30 schools, and one of two in Asia, in the first edition of the Positive Impact Rating (PIR)!

The rating results were released at the World Economic Forum in Davos. PIR is a new rating managed by students for students around the world to assess their business schools and the positive impact they make in society. Traditionally, business schools mainly focused on educating talents and providing insightful research and further education for business organizations, rather than focusing on making a positive impact on society. As demonstrated by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, demands for a positive impact from business schools have increased over the years, resulting in the new rating for business schools globally.

This new addition of recognition reaffirms the School’s international standing as a force for sustainability, diversity and socio-economic advancement. It also reinforces our commitment and dedication to educate and inspire talented individuals in life-long learning and contribute towards society to make the world a better place for all.
