[eNews] Superheroes in Disguise: HKUST EMBA Alumni Supports Community During Coronavirus Outbreak

Superheroes come in many shapes, sizes and abilities. Some wear capes and fly, and others have a big heart and social responsibility spirit to support their community.

The coronavirus outbreak has caused chaos and disruption in many people’s lives around the world. Medical workers in Wuhan and other severely affected areas are working tirelessly to care for patients, and basic medical supplies such as surgical face masks and protective gear for medical staff are running low.

Our HKUST EMBA alumni have extended a big hand to help fight the virus by giving back to their community. They have generously contributed their time and efforts to source supplies for frontline medical workers, as well as making donations and helping affected families take care of their young children.

In this extraordinary time, our EMBA alumni have demonstrated one of the School’s missions to impact our society in a positive and meaningful way.
