The Hong Kong University
of Science and
Technology Business
School is pleased to
invite graduate students
to submit proposals to
compete in our fifth
annual HKUST Business
School Business Plan
Competition.
The upcoming 2010 HKUST
Business Plan
Competition will be held
May 20, 2010.
Students are invited to
submit business plan
proposals for
consideration of
participation.
Total Awards for the
2010 Competition will be
approximately
HK$100,000; however, the
real prize is the chance
for students to offer
their business proposals
before an international
panel of investors and
executives in the
financial hub of Asia.
The HKUST Competition
provides a unique
entrepreneurial
opportunity, the
opportunity for new
ventures to present to
active investors
operating in Hong Kong
and China.
This year the Business
Plan competition is
focused on the HKUST
community. The
competition is aimed at
graduate students but
combined teams with both
UG and graduate students
will be considered. We
invite currently
enrolled graduate
students to submit a 5 -
7 page executive summary
(format described in
attachment) of their
business plans by email
attachment by May 13,
2010 for full
consideration.
Submissions should be
emailed to the HKUST
Contest: hkustbp@ust.hk.
Please indicate "HKUST
MBA Business Plan
Contestant" in the
Subject line.
We ask that each team
also submit an 'Intent
to compete' note with
the preliminary team
members, university, and
company name and brief
description as soon as
possible, but no later
than May 3.
We look forward to your
active participation.
