MGMT department ranks among Top Five in the world for 2008-2009: according to UT-Dallas survey of top business school research in terms of publications in five premier management journals (Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal).

Department name change to Department of Management. Effective from August 1, 2009, the official name of our department has been changed from “Department of Management of Organizations” (組織管理學系) to “Department of Management” (管理學系). In this connection, all courses offered by our department have been recorded with the “MGMT” prefix instead of “MGTO" starting from the fall semester in 2009.

Prof Riki Takeuchi has won the 2010 Distinguished Early Career Contributions Award by Society for Industrial & organizational Psychology (SIOP). This award is given to an individual who has made distinguished contributions to the science and/or practice of I-O psychology within seven years of receiving the Ph.D. degree.
