MGMT department ranks among Top Ten in the world: according to UT-Dallas survey
of top business school research in terms of publications in five premier management journals (Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal).

Prof J.T. Li appointed as Associate Editor for Strategic Management Journal, a top-tier academic journal in strategy.

Prof Yaping Gong appointed as Senior Editor for Asia Pacific Journal of Management (APJM), the official journal of the Asia Academy of Management (AAOM).

Prof Larry Farh was elected as Vice President for International Association for Chinese Management Research (IACMR), the largest international professional association for Chinese management research with over 2000 paying members. He is also the Program Chair for the fifth IACMR Biannual Conference to be held in Hong Kong, June 2012.
Prof Riki Takeuchi has won the 2010 Distinguished Early Career Contributions Award by Society for Industrial & organizational Psychology (SIOP). This award is given to an individual who has made distinguished contributions to the science and/or practice of I-O psychology within seven years of receiving the Ph.D. degree.
