Teams will be presented with a business case study on Tuesday morning, Nov 2. Each team has approximately 26 hours to research, analyze, and provide recommendations to senior management for consideration. Preliminary and Final Presentations are made on Wednesday, Nov 3 and Thursday, Nov 4 respectively. During this period, students have to work on their own and discussion of the case with outside sources, advisors, faculties, or any parties other than their teammates, is not permitted.

Each team has 20 minutes to present their case analysis and recommendations. It will then be followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer session, during which the judges will address questions to the presenting team. No questions will be allowed from the audience. All team members must actively participate in the presentation phase, which is followed by a question and answer session. Before the 20-minute presentation, 5 minutes will be given for each team for setting up. Teams can start their presentation right after setting up. The remaining time of the 5-minute setup cannot be added to the presentation time. Competition rules allow textbooks, notes, and passive use of the Internet for research purposes. Discussion of the case with outside sources, advisors, faculties, or any parties other than their teammates is not permitted.

Teams are judged by faculty members as well as a panel of industry experts including representatives of Citibank, senior management of the organization studied and other renowned business leaders.

Judges will base their decisions on such criteria as the depth and comprehensiveness of analysis, innovativeness and feasibility of recommendations and overall presentation.
