Both the order of Case Distribution and Preliminary Presentation will be determined by a random draw, which will take place on Tuesday, Nov 2 at Tin Ka Ping Hall, HKUST. The draw will start at 9:30 a.m.

On Tuesday, Nov 2, teams will receive their cases at the following time at Tin Ka Ping Hall:

Teams will be divided into four divisions in which five to six teams will be competing for ONE place in the final round.

On Wednesday, Nov 3, each team of CICC participants must hand in their presentation files 45 minutes before the starting time of their teams’ presentations at the presentation venue counter (6/F, Lift 29/30).

The presentation files will be printed out for the judging panel with the aids of the organizing team.

Four teams will present at the same time. Each team will have 20 minutes for presentation, followed by a Q&A session for 15 minutes. Before the presentation, each team will be given 5 minutes for setting up.

Teams can start their 20-minute presentation right after they finish setting up. The remaining time of the 5-minute for setting up cannot be made use of for neither presentation or Q&A. There will be five-minute and one-minute remaining warning.

The Preliminary Presentation is in closed format. No external audience is allowed. Only advisors are allowed to watch their own teams’ presentations.

Teams have to present at the following time at EMBA Classrooms (6/F, Lift 29-30):

The Debriefing Session is compulsory for all participants.

Four teams, one from each division in preliminary round, will be competing in the final round.

Our designated staff will keep the USB keys of the finalist teams and give them back during the Final Presentation. The finalist teams are not allowed to make any changes on the presentation files.

The final competition is open to public.

However, all finalists, except advisors, are not allowed to sit in on any presentations before they finish their own presentations.

The finalists will give their Final Presentations at a downtown hotel on Thursday, 4 Nov. The time is as follows:
