BBA in Global Business
 

The BBA in Global Business (GBUS), the first of its kind in Hong Kong, educates highly motivated students to become business leaders of the 21st century. It equips them with a solid set of skills within a global context essential in meeting the needs of international employers.

Curriculum
Global Business students follow an intensive custom-designed curriculum. Together with the most current academic knowledge, the program hones students’ critical thinking, problem solving, entrepreneurial knowledge, leadership and communication capabilities.

Besides majoring in Global Business, students are expected to take a second major in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Operations Management, Management of Organizations, or Marketing. To enhance students’ communication abilities, students also take an elementary course in a foreign language such as French, German, Japanese, Latin or Spanish.

Career Prospects
Students graduate with a broad-based education, a global perspective and a business specialization. They are well prepared to take up challenging positions in both private and public sectors.

The first batch of graduates in 2004 were placed in major multinational corporations such as Barclays Capital, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Morgan Stanley, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Procter & Gamble, and Unilever.
