BBA in Information Systems

The BBA in Information Systems (IS) produces management-oriented, technically-proficient professionals with the competence to design, implement and control the information systems that drive business and help managements achieve their objectives. It does this through a solid curriculum that rolls technological, analytical and managerial skills into one.

Curriculum
The program nurtures students to become enterprising individuals who are able to integrate IT knowledge to provide innovative business solutions for modern corporations. Continuous program innovation ensures that new courses are introduced to keep pace with industry trends. Besides the traditional IS curriculum, there are two exciting concentrations of courses. One new concentration on IS auditing - one of the fastest growing professional service functions globally today - prepares students for IS auditing career with the Big4 accounting firms or listed companies. The other concentration is on technology and innovation management which develops insights into how IT can be employed in innovative business solutions for their future employers. We also help to prepare students for professional certification in IS auditing and CISCO networking.

IS graduates are in high demand in the job market, especially in a dynamic city like Hong Kong. Demand for IS graduates is so high that many students receive multiple internship and graduation job offers before graduation. Graduates are employed in a wide range of jobs/industries, including system/business analysis, IS auditing, banking and finance, administration and management, sales and marketing, etc.
