Courses
Strong language and communications skills are essential for a successful
business career. The School has developed courses in English and
Chinese (Putonghua) to help students meet this challenge. Recently,
courses in foreign languages such as Japanese, French, German, Latin,
and Spanish have also been introduced.

Business Case Analyses
To foster students’
critical thinking and presentation skills, all business undergraduate students
are required to take a first-year course in Business Case Analyses.
With the joint effort of the business faculty and the Language Center,
the course integrates core business disciplines with communication skills.
It is taught with a focus on both specific business content and interdisciplinary
analysis along with effective presentation of cases analyses and recommendations.
Language Study Tours
The School co-organizes language study tours during the summer
break with overseas and mainland language centres and univerisities. Students can strengthen their language skills and learn about different cultures through a wide variety of academic and social activities,
including getting to know local people and host families.
