Based on Publications in Top-three Accounting Journals

According to The UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings, the Department of Accounting of HKUST ranks 17th worldwide with 33 articles (19.17 adjusted for co-authorship) published in top three accounting journals in the last ten years (2002-2011), and 18th with 17 articles (8.08 adjusted for co-authorship) in the last five years (2007-2011).
