Prof. Emeritus Francis LUI appointed to be a member of Public Service Commission

Professor Emeritus Francis T LUI is appointed by the HKSAR Government to be a member of Public Service Commission, effective from 1 June 2021.

Established in 1950, Public Service Commission is the principal statutory advisory body to the Chief Executive on civil service appointments, promotions, and discipline. The Commission also acts as a think tank to the Civil Service Bureau on appointments, promotions, and human resource management issues. The Commission’s aims are to ensure that the most deserving candidates are chosen for appointments and promotions, and that disciplinary punishment is consistent throughout the civil service.
