HIGHLIGHTS
Hong Kong’s First Sustainable and Green Finance Program

Various media including HK Economic Times, Ta Kung Pao, TOPick, Mirage News, Today’s Headline, China Infrastructure News (中国基建报),  Sohu (搜狐), Info Express (快资讯),  YiDan (一点资讯) and 163.com (網易) reported the launch of HK’s first Sustainable and Green Finance program to nurture green and sustainable finance experts in support of the city’s development into a leading green financial center. Jointly offered by the Business School and the Division of Environment and Sustainability at HKUST, the program will welcome the first cohort of 30 students in 2022-23 academic year. The Program is also mentioned by the Hong Kong’s Climate Action Plan 2050 announced by the Environmental Bureau.

First Virtual Classroom in Asia

Inside Asian Gaming carried a supplement featuring Asia’s first virtual classroom launched by HKUST Business School for its new Digital MBA Program. The new facility is expected to create a highly engaging online learning environment for students.

Protect Mental Health During Pandemic (September 14)
Medical Express featured a research co-led by Associate Prof. Amy DALTON (Department of Marketing) and Bayes Business School. The study found that individuals feel more inauthentic and out of touch with their true-self when COVID 19's restrictions force them to change their regular day-to-day social roles.
