On May 15 (Friday), HKUST Business School presents “Future Proofing Your Career in Uncertain Times” lunchtime webinar by Diana Wu David. Diana is a former Financial Times executive, author of Future Proof: Reinventing Work in an Age of Acceleration and adjunct professor at Columbia Business School’s EMBA Global Asia. As an accomplished business leader, storyteller and strategist, Diana will share about her unique recipe to future proof your skills and capabilities and build resilience in the face of constant changes.

The webinar will be moderated by Prof Albert Park, Director of HKUST Institute for Emerging Market Studies and Head and Chair Professor of Economics. The webinar is open to alumni, students, staff and friends of the HKUST community.

Professor Albert Park Professor Albert Park is a development and labor economist who is an expert on China’s economic development. He is Director of the Institute for Emerging Market Studies, Head and Chair Professor of Economics, Chair Professor of Social Science, and Professor of Public Policy at HKUST. Professor Park is a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (London), the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA, Bonn), the International Growth Centre (Oxford/LSE/DFID), and the Human Capital and Economic Opportunity Working Group (Chicago). In recent years he has published articles in leading economics journals on firm performance, poverty and inequality, migration and employment, health and education, and the economics of aging in China.
